Why the name Loliartz?

Loli is one of my earlier nicknames. I have been using this name since the beginning of my work.

Where do you get your inspiration from?

Basically all around me. From random views, photos, dreams, feelings, books... Or recently from my side study of zoology.

Have you been painting since childhood?

Yes, like all of us. I just stayed with it.

What do your paintings represent?

Most often they represent my personal deeper thought. Sometimes I use them to express a certain mood or feeling that I have about a specific object. But as a rule, I don't explain my paintings to anyone - I would deprive the viewer of the experience.

How do you determine what colors to use?

It's always mainly about the overall idea of the image - it's one of the ways of expression. Of course, they also have to meet certain aesthetic forms. I mainly like to use basic unmixed colors (red, blue, yellow, black, white).

What is your goal?

With my work I want to break the stereotype that artists cannot make a living from art. In the future I also want to teach children the basics of drawing and reveal their deeper potential in discovering the world. Furthermore, I would also like to collaborate with other talented artists and together create a community for further development. I would also like to later write books on various topics that I would also illustrate myself.

How about handing over paintings?

There are two options:

1. Hand over in person at my atelier
2. Send by mail

It's impossible to say which is better, because each customer's situation is different. It depends on agreement.

What does the price depend on?

Mainly according to the difficulty, size and time spent on the painting.

How is it possible that there are more paintings in the same form on your website?

There is an unwritten rule in art circles that an author can create several identical works of art, but still be considered originals. The number 7 is usually given, but I personally use the option of only three originals.

Is it possible to purchase a cheaper version of your paintings?

Yes, if you are interested, I can also make prints on canvas. Of course, the price depends on the size of the print.

Do you also make custom paintings? Or photography?

Not at the moment, but in some cases I will show customers what I am currently working on and together we can come to a solution.

How do painting reservations work?

If the customer wants to buy a painting, but for some reason it's not yet possible, we can arrange a reservation. Thus, for a period of one month (or an agreed period), the "RESERVED" mark on a specific painting will be visible and it will not be possible to buy it for someone else. However, if the reservation lasts longer than a month (or the agreed time), the tag will be automatically removed.

Even during the reservation, it's possible to reserve a reserved painting and book it in case the original interested customer doesn't take it over.

Booking is of course free.
